Dead By Daylight Leak Claims Predator Chapter is Coming – ‘Lined Up Since Alien’

As spotted by the LeaksDBD subreddit, prominent and reliable Dead By Daylight leaker, Dvveet, has claimed on Discord that a Predator Chapter is coming and that it “has been lined up since Alien released”.

There have recently been growing rumors of a Predator Chapter in development. A leaker who shared concept art of a muscle queen Survivor as well as the possibly cancelled March 2026 Survivor claimed that Predator is “most likely” the Chapter for January. However, Dvveet doesn’t know if it’s “January or not”.

While it’s plausible Predator could kick off the new year, it’s looking unlikely as Dvveet claimed production hadn’t started on the license since at least November 2024. Chapters usually take over a year to develop, so, although technically possible, it’s looking like the January Chapter will be something else.

Predator has been one of the most highly requested crossovers alongside Friday the 13th. The Killer is obvious, but a Survivor is difficult to predict. In an interview with YouTuber Testdeganonbenj, DBD game director and head of partnerships for BeHaviour Interactive, Mathieu Cote, dismissed the idea of Arnold Schwarznegger’s Dutch because he’s a “pure hero”.

With Schwarznegger out-of-the-picture, Naru from the excellent movie Prey would be a fantastic choice. This is because she’s an underdog who isn’t physically imposing and she defeated the Predator by outsmarting it with traps.

Predator and Other Candidates for Dead By Daylight January Chapter

Predator is one of four candidates for the Dead By Daylight licensed January Chapter that will star two Survivors and one Killer. Danganronpa has been theorised, but it’s looking incredibly unlikely. The other two candidates are Resident Evil Part 3 and Stranger Things Part 2.

Starting with Resident Evil, leakers with a 50/50 track record have previously claimed that the January Chapter is a third collaboration with Capcom starring Ethan and Rose Winters against Jack from Resident Evil 7. BeHaviour has seemingly shut down the idea of Resident Evil Chapter 3, but it remains a possibility.

There are no leaks for a second Stranger Things Chapter, but fans believe something could be imminent. This is because the Stranger Things Chapter has gone on sale for all platforms, and this is the first time since returning in 2023 following its removal in 2021. The January Chapter was also previously planned for November before its delay, which would’ve lined up with Stranger Things’ final season.

Hopefully we find out the January Chapter soon. Predator, Stranger Things, and Resident Evil seem the most likely candidates, but it’s possible it could be something completely out-of-the-blue. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Regarding other Chapters for the future, it’s been reported that Friday the 13th is planned following its appearance in other games like Fortnite. Mathieu Cote has said he “can’t talk about” Jason Voorhees possibly joining DBD and has warned that just because a license is “available today, [doesn’t mean] it’s available tomorrow”.
