Dead By Daylight, Fortnite, Roblox and More Gaming Apps Down in Huge Internet Outage

Dead By Daylight, Fortnite, Roblox, and more gaming applications and websites are reportedly down as part of a huge outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Downdetector lists many of the applications experiencing issues, and Amazon “can confirm increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS Services in the US-EAST-1 Region” with an update set to be provided at roughly 1:30AM PT.

Issues were first reported and being investigated by Amazon at 12:11AM PT on October 20th. The latest update reads, “Engineers were immediately engaged and are actively working on both mitigating the issue and fully understanding the root cause”.
