Dead By Daylight has been blessed with many fantastic collaborations. FNAF is the biggest, and BeHaviour has confirmed more Five Nights At Freddy’s content is on the way. Other massive franchises that have recently stepped into the fog include Resident Evil, CastleVania, Tomb Raider, and Alien. There will be more licenses joining in the future, and Dead By Daylight developers have confirmed wanting dream collaborations with a J-horror masterpiece as well as Bloodborne’s FromSoftware.
Dead By Daylight confirms wanting collaboration with J-horror and FromSoftware
To celebrate the launch of the Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter, BeHaviour participated in a live Q&A on the FNAF Discord. Unfortunately, the Q&A is no longer accessible, but answers from BeHaviour Interactive have been relayed onto X.
As relayed by FNaF4DBD, the participating Dead By Daylight developers shared licenses they want to collaborate with in the future. These reportedly include the following:
- Tekken
- Inscryption
- Fatal Frame
- Faith
In addition to the above, the developers also expressed a desire to collaborate with FromSoftware, although no specific game was shared.
Looking at the above, Fatal Frame would be perfect for DBD. It’s a fantastic J-horror video game franchise, and it would definitely work as a chapter with numerous possible leading ladies such as Yuri Kozukata as the survivor.
As for FromSoftware, the most ideal candidate on paper would be Bloodborne. Every FromSofware game dips its toe into horror, but Bloodborne is easily the most horror-esque game in FromSoftware’s portfolio. Its gothic visuals are incredible, and it would easily be one of the biggest DBD collaborations alongside Resident Evil and FNAF.
Remember that these collaborations are only ideas spoken aloud by the developers rather than anything officially happening. Out of all the games listed, Fatal Frame is the most desirable, but each of them possess big fanbases.
