The first de blob was somewhat of a surprise hit, shifting over 700,000 copies – an impressive feat given it was a third-party Wii release.
However, the recently launched sequel, which took the colourful world of de blob to multiple formats, has failed to find an audience. The game charted outside the UK Top 40 and according to investment firm Wedbush Morgan sold “much less” than 75,000 copies during its first month in the US.
The game certainly deserved better, earning a solid 7/10.
