A new Downloadable Content pack featuring powers based off of Green Lantern has been announced for DC Universe Online.
The Fight for the Light DLC will give users access to Light Powers a la Green Lantern, while allowing current players to respec their character to use the new abilities without having to create an entirely new character.
In addition, three new missions will be added to the game. The S.T.A.R. Labs places you against Brainiac’s logic battery that has been built to harness the Lantern Corps’ rings; Coast City has you battle through the home of Green Lantern Hal Jordan; finally, the Sciencell Prison is the back-drop for a prison break mission.
New unlockable items will be available as well, including Green Lantern themed gear and a Green Lantern and Sinestro Core suit.
The Fight for the Light DLC is set to release late this Summer for $9.99.
