120,000 new players have joined DC Universe Online on PC since the MMO went F2P, Sony Online Entertainment has announced.
According to an announcement made on SOE president John Smedley’s Twitter account, the number of concurrent users has increased by 400%.
Statistics for the PS3 version have not been made available however.
DC Universe Online went free-to-play for the first time November 1.
DCUO is one of the rare few MMOs that ever bothered making the leap to console – it’s had mixed reviews on the PS3 end so it would certainly be interesting to see how its console playerbase compares to PC.
