DC Universe Online’s first expansion pack, Fight for the Light, will be available for free on September 6.
The game was first announced in July as a premium add-on, thought to sell for $9.99. However it will now be available for free “as a way to thank loyal players”, CVG reports.
The expansion will add a new set of powers related to the Green Lantern’s trademark Light. As well, it will feature new characters, locations, and 16 new scenarios including a face off with the Red Lantern Corps.
