Horror title Daylight will launch for PS4 and PC on April 8 priced £11.99, Atlus and Zombie Studios have announced.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Daylight features procedurally generated levels set within the derelict Mid Island Hospital to ensure that no door, hallway, life-saving flare or clues to the main character’s past are ever in the same place twice. The player has only a phone to help her survive.

A major feature of the PS4 version is integration with Twitch chat, through which messages are used to cue in-game events.

One example given is a viewer typing the word “Meow” into the chat, which causes the game to make a corresponding sound of a cat. Exactly what words will trigger events will be up to the community to discover.

In addition, both the PC and PS4 versions of the game will be fully 3D compatible via RealD, the same tech used in movie theatres. Daylight is also compatible with the Oculus VR.
