Classic point-and-click adventure Day of the Tentacle is to be re-released on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux, creator Tim Schafer has announced.
Schafer announced the game at PlayStation Experience this weekend, although it isn’t yet known when it’s due to release or how it’s been updated for modern platforms.
Day of the Tentacle first launched on PC over 20 years ago and follows the time-travelling adventures of three friends trying to stop an evil Purple Tentacle from taking over the world.
It was one of my childhood favourites because, well, where else would you see a hamster powering a time machine? Never heard of it? Take a look at some gameplay of the original PC version below.
