Acid Wizard Studios has confirmed that the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One versions of Darkwood will launch later this month.

The survival horror title was originally released on PC two years ago, and takes place in the Soviet Bloc around 1980, in an isolated forest that has trapped the main characters for an unknown period. Amidst this, the survivors living in the woods are being transformed into blood-thirsty creatures following the outbreak of a mysterious plague.

Your job is to survive, naturally, exploring the game’s semi-open world to unlock new areas, acquire essential supplies to craft useful items, and grow your character using the skill system. That’s just during the day, mind; at night, you have to defend your hideout from possible intrusions, something which will only succeed if you carefully plan ahead.

Darkwood will arrive for PS4 first on May 14, followed by the Switch version on May 16, and then the Xbox One edition on May 17.
