Darksiders II: Argul’s Tomb will be available to download on Xbox 360 and PC next Tuesday, September 25, and on PlayStation 3 a day later, THQ has announced.
The first piece of DLC for Vigil’s hit action-RPG features an entirely new icy ‘gameplay zone’, cramming in two new dungeons, additional enemies and unique loot.
It’ll be available for 560 Microsoft Points or £4.39, or for free to those who picked up a new copy of Darksiders II’s Limited Edition. The DLC will also be included on the disc of the upcoming Wii U release.
If you haven’t yet played through Darksiders II, though, you might want to give it a whirl before the DLC arrives. THQ says that the DLC has been “tailored towards players that have finished at least the first three zones of the main game”.
Darksiders II launched last month on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The game managed to fend off competition from Sleeping Dogs, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and New Super Mario Bros.2 to become the US’s highest-selling game for the month of August.
