Dark Souls’ additional PC content will be made available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this winter, Namco Bandai has announced.

The Artorias of the Abyss DLC, which comes alongside the PC version of Dark Souls when it launches on August 24, adds new areas, monsters and items to From Software’s cult RPG.

Confirming the news via IGN, Namco Bandai has not provided an exact date for when the consoles will see the content, but has said it will cost 1200MSP or $14.99 – no exact European price was given.

“Dark Souls isn’t a game you play for fun. It’s something you do to say you’ve done; like running a marathon or climbing Everest,” said Jamin in his 8/10 Dark Souls review last year.
