Gamers around the world are racing to complete From Software’s Dark Souls 3 in the quickest possible time, with Japanese YouTuber muzi_nasuwho believed to be the current fastest at just 83 minutes and 18 seconds on the in-game clock.
However, muzi_nasuwho’s time does not include defeating the five optional bosses, something Twitch streamer Distortion2 managed by adding only an extra four a half minutes to the total game completion time. Distortion2’s overall time is one hour 27 minutes and 45 seconds.
You can expect the speedrunning competition to get even fiercer over the coming weeks once the game launches internationally on April 12.
