Dark Souls 2 players on PS3 are “currently experiencing occasional difficulty with some online matching features,” publisher Namco Bandai Games has acknowledged.
The publisher added that it is “currently working with FromSoftware to address all difficulties and will provide an update shortly”.
“Thank you for your understanding,” a note on the game’s support page concluded.
In addition, Namco Bandai has confirmed that the PS3 game servers will be inaccessible during the following time frame because of the PSN server maintenance.

- March 13th 2:00am – 5:00am EDT
