According to a trailer shipping with Dante’s Inferno, EA and Visceral will release Trials of St. Lucia DLC on April 29.
The DLC pack will introduce a trials creation tool, allowing players to build their own challenges which can then be shared with the game’s community. Players will be able to download user created trials from the game’s servers, with user ratings forming a user content leaderboard.
These trials will be customisable with different arenas and monsters, some of which didn’t appear in the main game.
Furthermore, the trials will be playable cooperatively with a friend over the internet. Joining Dante is his guardian angel St. Lucia, a Christian martyr who is mentioned in the Divine Comedy.
Dante’s Inferno is out this Friday for PS3 and Xbox 360. Look out for our review later today.
