During one of the smiley Nintendo Treehouse livestreams at E3 (via VG247), it was confirmed that the action-packed mech game Daemon x Machina will be getting a competitive multiplayer mode after the game launches on September 13.
Kenichiro Tsukuda of developer Marvelous said that the team is still working on it at the minute, but didn't give any forecasted date for the update or anything like that.
Daemon x Machina will include a co-op mode from the get-go; Tsukuda, via a translator, said this was because the studio wanted to make sure there was something in the game for those that aren't keen on fighting against each other.
