CyGames lifted the wraps off a brand new fantasy-flavoured RPG during Sony's PlayStation Lineup Tour earlier today: Project Awakening.
There's not many details available on the ambitious-looking title right now, although it appears to focus on a bunch of medieval warriors battling against massive dragons. It looks bloody gorgeous too, so even at this early stage it has a lot going for it.
I'd probably describe it as something of a mashup of Monster Hunter and…well, Monster Hunter. It really does look like the developer is doffing its cap to Capcom's series, and that's no bad thing.
Project Awakening is currently in development for PlayStation 4, and has been confirmed for a Japanese and western launch. A release date has not been confirmed at this point.
