Forget Hollywood, the place to see a couple of Hollywood heavyweights is going to be Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, with both actors part of the new expansion when it arrives later this year.

We got to see a brand new trailer for the game during the Xbox Games Showcase – that gave us a bit more insight into the game’s plot. See, there’s a bit of an issue with a time bomb ticking in your head, so V’s going to have to team with Johnny Silverhands one more time to deal with it. Of course, while a mysterious figure can help you, they’re not going to let you do it for free – which will setup the events of the game.

We’re promised new weapons, tech, vehicles and cyberware – as well as brand new Relic skill tree that’s set to give players even more choice in shaping V to their particular playstyle. The expansion will focus more on the action side of things, it seems – with the expansion promising to take more of a spy-thriller bent, with espionage and explosive set-pieces aplenty. It looks like we’re in for another exciting ride then – with plenty more action from the streets of Night City. And now we know when you’ll get your hands on the game, as the trailer ended with the game’s release date – September 26.
