CD Projekt Red has confirmed that multiplayer is coming to its next RPG Cyberpunk 2077, as announced on its official Twitter account.

A multiplayer feature in Cyberpunk 2077 was a hot potato from the start. In 2018, CD Projekt Red said in a financial conference that the sci-fi dystopian game would mimic grim fantasy The Witcher 3; a single player experience with no hidden costs for extra content. Then, studio president Adam KiciÅ„ski revealed that the developer is working on three Cyberpunk projects. One of these is the main game, and the other two were left unsaid. Rumours swirled of multiplayer yet again, but now we have a formal confirmation that the Samurai will invite the whole squad to Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches April 16, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
