Cult of the Lamb review round up – a prime slice of gaming

Cult of the Lamb reviews have dropped and it’s going down a storm.

Here we’ve pulled together a number of review scores so far for the game – and have taken some ‘prime cuts’ (see what we did there) from our friends at WePC.

For those unfamiliar with Cult Of The Lamb you play as a lamb, who’s slaughtered and then brought back from the dead. Don’t let the childish visuals fool you though, there’s a shed-load of hack ‘n’ slash violence on display.

Ryan Easby, from WePC, called Cult of the Lamb: “One of the best games of the year, with every mechanic blending perfectly.”

He went on to add: “Cult Of The Lamb is a true game of the year contender, a prime cut of gaming heaven. I cannot recommend this to enough people, and I won’t stop talking about it for a long time.”

Pretty high praise indeed.

Elsewhere our fellow gaming websites also seem to have enjoyed the game. Here are the key review scores:

PC Guide: 82 / 100

Comicbook: 5/5

Eurogamer: Recommended

Polygon: Recommends

RPS: Bestest Bests

IGN: 8/10

Destructoid: 8.5 / 10

Cult of the Lamb is out on August 11 on PC, Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
