And today’s announcement of a Resident Evil 4 Gamecube Bundle should certainly prove just that. It includes:

  • A limited edition Platinum and Black Resident Evil 4 branded Nintendo GameCube
  • A platinum and black controller featuring the Resident Evil 4 logo
  • A copy of the game and a special bonus disc featuring Resident Evil 4 ‘making of’ footage
  • Game movies of Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis; Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 4
  • And a playable demo of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

Due to retail for a mere £89 when it launches across Europe on the 18th March 2005, we at Pro-G cannot overstate how much value for money this bundle represents – especially as the game at the centre of it looks set to become one of the defining titles of this console generation, making this special edition release a must for those without a Gamecube.

For those already with the machine however, the game’s official UK release is the 4th of March. For more on Resi 4, check out our latest preview, a hands-on with the game’s US release.
