GamesIndustry.biz reports that Crytek’s acquisition of UK development studio Free Radical Design has now been completed. Free Radical went into administration in December 2008, laying off over 140 positions within the company.
“We are pleased to announce that a sale completed to Crytek late last night thus preserving over 40 jobs,” confirmed Cameron Gunn, administrator at ReSolve Partners.
An announcement regarding the details of the acquisition is expected later today.
