Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2 and Dead Space 2 have each shipped more than two million units, EA has announced.
EA added that “cumulative sales of Dead Space 2 are currently 40 per cent higher than sales of the original Dead Space game over a comparable period.”
In addition to the three two-million sellers, EA boasts a further four titles which reached one million units sold.
The publisher also updated life-to-date shipment figures for some of its major titles. FIFA 11 has shipped 12 million units, Bad Company 2 has shipped over seven million units, and Medal of Honor, NFS Hot Pursuit and Madden NFL 11 have shipped over five million units.
We’re looking at shipped, not sold, but two million units for the three major releases isn’t to be sniffed at. Crysis 2 in particular, which only launched in the last week of March, looks set to warrant a quicker turnaround of a sequel.
