SEGA has announced that the HD remake of Crazy Taxi will be released this November for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PSN.

Complete with 720p widescreen visuals, leaderboards and Achievements/trophies, Crazy Taxi will be released on November 24 priced 800 MS Points/£6.29.

“Crazy Taxi is the second instalment in our Dreamcast revival, and we hope this release will prove every bit as nostalgic to fans as Sonic Adventure did last month!” said Haruki Satomi, VP of digital business at SEGA.

The game will feature Arcade Mode, Original Mode and sixteen mini-games.

Sonic Adventure, the first of the Dreamcast revival releases, proved that times have changed, and a game once considered pretty good is actually rather bad by today’s standards. Crazy Taxi has enjoyed a number of re-releases over the years; 2007’s compilation on PSP was already showing its age, and the situation is only likely to have gotten worse in the three years since. As SEGA VP Haruki Satomi said, Crazy Taxi will be selling on the nostalgia factor.
