SEGA’s arcade classic, Crazy Taxi, makes a welcome return this summer with the release of Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars, exclusively for the PSP.

Developed by Sniper Studios, Fare Wars will feature ports of the Dreamcast games Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2, each playable independently of one another. Players will have a choice of single-player modes to take part in, including a mission-based Arcade mode, Time Trial mode, and two mini-game training modes: Crazy Box, a collection of 16 original Crazy Taxi games; and Crazy Pyramid, mini-games arranged in a pyramid that drivers have to complete to unlock mini-games from Crazy Taxi 2.

New to the series is a selection of two-player Ad Hoc wireless multiplayer modes, where players can work together or face off against one another, steeling passengers from other cabbies. Available only in Crazy Taxi 2 is the ability to record and save gameplay replays of your performance to the Memory Stick.

Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars is scheduled to arrive exclusively on the PSP in the summer.
