With video games being pushed onto the production line to meet the scheduled launch date it’s no surprise that it’s becoming increasingly common to see patches available from day one.
Microsoft will do just that with its upcoming sandbox action title Crackdown, meaning gamers should be able to experience the online portion of the game without the problems which crept into the final version of the game.
“This update will address some matchmaking and minor stuttering issues during certain cooperative play sessions via Xbox Live and System Link,” Microsoft said. “The update will help ensure a more smooth and seamless cooperative gameplay experience for Crackdown fans everywhere.“
Crackdown will be available only on Xbox 360 on February 23 and if you aren’t aware also includes access to the spring Halo 3 multiplayer beta.
