As one of Microsoft’s key Xbox 360 releases in the early part of 2007, Crackdown has quite a weight on its shoulders. Sales of the game will undoubtedly be aided by the bundled Halo 3 beta place, but early impressions show the game to be much more than a beta pushing vehicle.
Microsoft had planned to release a playable demo of Crackdown on Xbox Live Marketplace on January 18, but there’s been a slight snag. The good news is that the demo is still coming; it’s just that you’ll have to wait another few days while it goes through the final stages of Microsoft’s certification process.
