Crackdown 3 could be announced today, according to various tweets from Xbox execs and Ruffian Games.
Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer first teased the announcement on Twitter last night, saying that it was “personally going to be a good day tomorrow, looking forward to a games announce coming early in the morning, fun part of the job.”
The tweet was followed by another from Xbox Live’s director of programming Larry Hryb, who teased:
“Looks like I’ve got a a busy morning coming up tomorrow :)”
Then, this morning, Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games tweeted: “Morning! Feels like a good day for announcements doesn’t it?”
Rumours of Crackdown 3 on Xbox One have been swirling since the console’s first reveal last May, when the Crackdown orb was spotted during a demonstration of the console.
So is it Crackdown 3, or something else altogether? We’ll find out more later today.
