According to Microsoft’s response to the January NPD sales figures, Ruffian Games’ Crackdown 2, the long-awaited follow-up to the 2007 sleeper hit, will be released in June 2010.
However, this date seems to conflict with other information from Microsoft, which suggests no firm date has been set.
The first game proved somewhat of a surprise package, with many at first viewing the title as their ticket into the Halo 3 multiplayer beta. However, thrilling open-world carnage and cooperative gameplay earned the game a strong following.
