Double Fine has announced Costume Quest 2, a sequel to 2010’s cutesy RPG due for release on “platforms that matter” this Halloween.
Published by indie label Midnight City, Costume Quest 2 promises a “deeper and juicier” combat system and appears to be built on the original game’s engine. Further details on the game have yet to be released.
The original Costume Quest released under THQ back in 2010 and told the tale of two young trick-or-treaters – Reynold and Wren – who are sent into their neighborhood to meet new friends, and who learn new abilities by acquiring new costumes.
