In Cooking Mama the player takes on the role of a superstar chef in training, and under Mama’s careful tuition will prepare and create over seventy distinct dishes. Items on the menu include simple snack food such as a fired egg, to full-on culinary masterpieces.
Using the DS’ stylus, players will slice, chop, pan fry, knead, grate, mash, tenderise, mix, peel, carve, roll and much more. Once the meal is prepared you can then use the stylus to add finishing touches to its presentation and even cool a hot dish down by blowing on the microphone.
Cooking Mama is developed by Taito and is scheduled for release across Europe on December 8. A Wii version, Cooking Mama: Cooking with International Friends, is expected in 2007.
