Constructor HD has been delayed until April, System 3 has confirmed. The game had previously been due to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC later this month.

The new window was first revealed in a blog post on the publisher’s website which, according to entries on Wayback Machine, appears to have been updated with the new date at some point late last year. The post initially carried a January 29 release date.

The delay was later confirmed to VideoGamer.com by a System 3 representative.

“Our goal with Constructor HD is to produce the best game possible and we came to the decision that the game needed more time,” the rep said. “We will announce a new date shortly.”

Constructor HD is a remastered version of the classic 1997 PC city-builder that sees players construct homes and businesses while ordering groups of thugs, hippies and rogue mechanics to attack other players’ properties.

The original game sold over 5 million copies worldwide before coming to PSOne.
