The hugely successful Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise will come to consoles, creator Scott Cawthon has told fans on Steam.
Asked about the possibility of a console game, he replied: “Actually, yes! It will happen. I’m talking with a few companies who are interested in doing console remakes of the original games. :)”
He later added that limitations of the Clickteam game engine means he can’t easily produce console versions himself, meaning he needs to go to third parties for help.
He also confirmed that the console versions “will not be ported, they will be remade”.
