LA Noire developer Team Bondi has gone into administration, according to a listing on the website for Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

The confirmation follows reports from earlier this morning by Australian business site SmartCompany. When the site attempted to contact the Team Bondi office they were told that no-one works there any more, and that no-one would be available to handle media enquiries.

In short, the company looks to be deader than one of LA Noire’s naked murder victims.

Last month it was reported that Team Bondi had sold all of its assets and IP to Sydney Production Studio KMM, which is working on a video game for Happy Feet 2. The IP for LA Noire still belongs to Rockstar, though.

Team Bondi’s apparent demise has arrived despite widespread critical and commercial success for LA Noire. Read our review to find out why it was one of our favourite games of the year.
