The scans show the magazine’s cover, complete with the large lettering in the centre spelling out “Command & Conquer 3.” Beneath the game title a little more info is divulged with the words “New race, new story, new war!” US video games website GameSpot seem pretty certain that the magazine cover is legit, noting that the format of the cover fits exactly with the magazine’s cover style, and that the cover also has the correct issue number.
Although nothing has been confirmed it does seem likely that Command & Conquer is returning, with EA’s recent First Decade compilation seemingly a tool to rejuvenate interest in the series, rather than a last goodbye. Should this be the case, one should expect to hear more on the game at E3.
