Overnight Treyarch showed selected press a host of new gameplay modes and features to be found in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops.
There was no info on a multiplayer beta, but we were shown Wager Matches and offline play against bots which Treyarch is calling Combat Training.
Wager Matches are comprised of four brand-new, free-for-all modes designed for the adrenaline junkie. Separate from the standard online progression system, Wager Matches allow players to take the currency they’ve earned and gamble it against other players. Come in the top three of your game and you’re “In The Money”.
Check the video below for details on the One in the Chamber, Sticks and Stones, Gun Game and Sharpshooter game types.
Treyarch also revealed Combat Training, a new offline multiplayer mode in which you go up against bots, and gun customisation which will enable players to slap decals such as clan tags on their weaponry.
Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on November 9. Look out for updated impressions very soon.
