The title appeared on Nintendo’s recent European release schedule, but it was a bit of a mystery. Nintendo has now revealed that, as the title suggests, the game will feature 42 classic card, board, and parlour games. What’s more, many of these games will feature both local wireless and online play.
Card games such as Poker and Texas Hold ‘Em, board games including Chess and Backgammon, and bar games like Darks and Snooker are just some of the classic games included in the package. You can play on your own or take advantage of the game’s multiplayer options to play against up to seven other people over a local wireless connection.
Most of the games also include online play, with Nintendo WiFi Connection making it possible to play against opponents from all over the world. A built in Picto chat function will enable players to chat whilst playing, or even attempt to bluff their way to victory.
42 All-Time Classics will be released under the Touch Generations brand across Europe on September 29, and should carry an estimated retail price of around £20.
