Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Predicted to Win More GOTY Awards

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is predicted to win more Game of the Year Awards before 2025 wraps up. It is currently leading the most amount of nominations for the Golden Joystick Awards, and it is seeking an historic Grammy nomination for the video games industry.

Of course, the biggest event is Geoff Keighely’s Game Awards scheduled for December 11th. There are no nominations yet, but Clair Obscur Expedition 33 seems a shoo-in for Game of the Year and many other categories.

While Expedition 33 is predicted to take home Game of the Year at The Game Awards, the game’s director has revealed that he is rooting for Megabonk instead.

Since its release earlier this year, Expedition 33 has been showered in praise by the entire video games industry. Other developers have hailed it as a masterpiece showing publishers gamers don’t want live-service slop, and the game’s success has even been acknowledged by Final Fantasy creator, Square Enix.

Fans can expect more from the series as Sandfall has confirmed that Expedition 33 is “not the end” of the franchise. The developer is starting to work on their next game, and they have promised fans it is “crazy” and true to the “studio’s DNA”.
