- The Civilisation 7 release window is set for 2025.
The latest entry in the legendary strategy series, Sid Meier’s Civilisation 7, has a confirmed release window thanks to a trailer shown during the Summer Game Fest. While there isn’t a date locked in, we do know that the next entry in the Civ series will also launch on console alongside the PC release. More information has been promised during a reveal in August, but here’s what we know so far.
When is the Civilisation 7 release window?
The Civilisation 7 release window is for 2025. Outside of this information, no more details about an actual release date have been locked in or confirmed. This launch window was announced during the Summer Game Fest in June, showing off a brief cinematic trailer for the game. Alongside this announcement, it was revealed there will be a special stream in August 2024 to show off: “exciting new features and innovations”. Perhaps this stream will reveal a release date.
What platforms will Civilisation 7 be on?
As mentioned in the Summer Game Fest trailer and the official website, Civilisation 7 will be available on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. It is currently unclear if the game will launch on all platforms simultaneously, or if we’ll see the PC release first and then have it come to consoles later on. As of right now, you can Wishlist the game on Steam and the PSN. Make sure you never miss a release and bookmark our 2024 upcoming game release schedule.
