Forest of Dread features a new Zone for players to explore – the mystical Croatoa, which is populated by monstrous new villains such as the giant Fir Bolg and the legendary Tuatha de Dannan. The update also includes a new epic Task Force for heroes to complete.

Two new power sets will also be included in the update: Archery and Sonics, available to Defenders, Blasters and Controllers. New Zone Events will test heroes to the limit, asking them to stop arson attacks and break up an out-of-control superpowered rave. As a final bonus the update will also include new badges!!

With our first Super Summer Slam Spectacular well underway, this is shaping up as a great summer for City of Heroes players,” says Stephen Reid, Content and Community Manager, NCsoft Europe. “With regular activities and events, and new content appearing on a regular basis, City of Heroes provides for its devoted community like few other games.
