Child of Light, the acclaimed turn-based RPG set in the magical world of Lemuria, will be released both digitally and at retail for PS Vita on July 2, Ubisoft has announced.

The digital version will carry a £11.99 price tag, whilst the retail Complete Edition will feature all additional game content, including a bonus quest, new character and pack of collectibles.

The game re-imagines classic fairytales, taking players on an adventure in the painted world of Lemuria where they will uncover mysteries and participate in turn-by-turn combat inspired by classic JRPGs.

As Aurora, a child stolen from her home, players must find their way home and bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the Queen of the Night.

Child of Light is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. Of the PS4 version Brett wrote: “Child of Light is bloody brilliant. Mixing a wonderful aesthetic with combat that offers both accessibility and complexity, it is more than worthy of your attention, especially at a time when new releases are few and far between.”
