Watching the PS4 Pro reveal on Sony’s HD stream last night didn’t quite get over the real benefits of the 4K capable Pro system. Thankfully Sony’s begun uploading 4K footage to YouTube, which whilst still a far way off reality, does offer a better impression of what you’re getting.
The video titled “PS4 Pro 4K Gameplay Sizzle” features a host of PS4 Pro enhanced games, including Spider-Man, Days Gone, Final Fantasy 15, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Rise of the Tomb Raider and many more.
Interestingly, Shadow of Mordor and Paragon footage comes with the footnote, “displayed 4K images are upscaled from PS4 Pro”. This could be because the developer is not offering increased resolution, but higher quality effects and graphical features instead.
