An internal marketing Q&A for Microsoft has revealed the platform holder is planning to release a $199 Xbox 360 slim this autumn.

The newly launched 250GB and Wi-Fi equipped Xbox 360 slim is priced $299, but no cheaper ‘Arcade’ model was revealed at E3 last week. It’s assumed the original Xbox 360 models will be phased out once the cheaper slim is introduced.

The same Q&A also revealed Microsoft’s intentions to offer a Kinect Xbox 360 bundle, though no details on pricing or release date was offered.
