The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be enhanced for both the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

In response to a probing question from Eurogamer, CD Projekt Red confirmed what the internet forums had been debating since Microsoft’s conference.

‘I can confirm that we are working both on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro patches for The Witcher 3. No extra details at this moment. More info is coming.’

This comes as not much of a surprise after the following slide was shown at the Microsoft conference last night, stating Xbox One games would receive a 4K boost. Alongside this is a list of all the games (so far) courtesy of Reddit, the results of which sent the internet into overdrive.

Xbox X enhanced

But Reddit can’t be taken as sole confirmation for all the games listed. CD Projekt Red itself, however, has confirmed the news.

This is in contrast to previous comments made by CD Projekt Red, who had stated that it had shifted all priorities over to Cyberpunk 2077.

I’m not sure if Alice will be chomping at the bit to leap into the shoes of Geralt once more. Either way, I don’t know about you, but an even more enhanced version of an already fantastic game? Sign me up.
