Major US television network CBS has rejected EA’s Dante’s Inferno ad scheduled to run during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The network wasn’t happy with the ad’s “Go to Hell” tagline which has been widely used in the game’s marketing, meaning EA has been forced to change the ad. The publisher has instead opted for the tagline, “Hell Awaits”.
You can find the original version of the ad over on The Hollywood Reporter.
Dante’s Inferno is out on Friday for Xbox 360 and PS3. A PSP version is also on the way. Check back for our verdict later today.
