According to the latest issue of Famitsu, next year’s Super Street Fighter IV release will offer more than a selection of new characters.
Any Street Fighter II fan will have fond memories of kicking and punching the living daylights out of a car and some barrels, and soon you’ll be able to do it all over again – the mid-game bonus stages are making a comeback in Super Street Fighter IV.
Famitsu also reveals some info on the game’s new online modes, including support for team battles – two on two and four on four – plus a replay channel. Endless mode will allow up to eight players to meet up and fight, which sounds a lot like a lobby system to us.
Super Street Fighter IV is scheduled for a spring 2010 release.
