Capcom is celebrating the success of its Xbox 360 titles, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Dead Rising. Since its release back in summer 2006, Dead Rising has shipped more than one million units worldwide, a feat equalled by Capcom’s latest Xbox 360 release, Lost Planet.

Following its impressive debut in demo form last summer, Lost Planet was released in Japan on December 21, 2006 with its North American and European release several weeks later on January 12, 2007. Worldwide, Capcom has now shipped more than one million units of the game.

Capcom says that its dual success makes it the most successful Japanese software publisher producing games for the Xbox 360.
