HOLD IT! Good news for fans of the courtroom drama adventure series today, as word comes that Capcom is looking to develop an entry in the series for Nintendo Switch for release after April next year.
The news comes from a Japanese interview with COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto conducted by Jiji and helpfully summarised in English by Wall Street Journal writer Takashi Mochizuki, which states that Capcom is currently working on multiple titles for the Switch that they hope to release after April 2018, one of which includes a new Ace Attorney game.

Obviously there’s very little to go on including whether this will be a whole new game in the hugely popular series or a port of one of the older titles, but there’s no doubt the portable nature of the Switch makes it a logical – and welcome – next step.
Fingers crossed we won’t be waiting too long to hear that familiar ‘OBJECTION!’ once more.
