Posting on the Capcom Unity forums Capcom vice president Christian Svensson has responded to suggestions that the recently released Resident Evil 5 Versus DLC was in fact already included on the game disc and gamers are paying for unlock codes. In short, gamers are wrong.
“Keys are 100K or less. It is not a key,” said Svenson. “We have said in the past, it uses assets from the disc (like levels, models, audio, etc.) but the code is new and does not exist on the disc.”
