Back when Dead Rising came out, there were some problems reported by some gamers who were playing the game on standard definition televisions. Capcom, who obviously made the game for the 720p resolution, didn’t realize that the game’s text was too tiny for a lot of people to read when using a standard definition TV.

The same problem has cropped up with the recent Lost Planet multiplayer demo, but this time Capcom says it will fix the problem in the final game. When you pick up your copy of the game in the New Year, the game will enlarge the text when running in standard definition.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is scheduled for release on January 12.
